Transformation & Coming into your Season

Written By: Tawana Necole

I have been posting a wealth of information about Success and how to obtain it, but there is one important step that you must know within the formula.

In the winter of last year, I was lying in my bed enjoying a "happy moment." (A happy moment for me, is a time when I just seize and enjoy whatever is going on that very second...It’s a like taking a picture to create a memory, but without a camera).  Outside of my window are two huge trees.  It gets cold in Atlanta (not like up north) but cold enough to allow the trees to become naked & bare. There weren’t any leaves visible except one small leaf that looked like it had just begun to grow.   The wind was blowing extremely hard, but that baby leaf hung on for dear life. I just knew eventually it was going to finally let go and give up, but it didn't. Immediately, I was enlightened.

Whenever you are going through anything, you should hold on and never give up. Whenever you are birthing a dream or a vision, there are going to be challenges. But, the way you view your situation is what determines your outcome.  Anything worth having requires doing something different
to gain what you want.  The leaf had a strong foundation because, if it didn’t, it would have been lost in the wind like the others.

Being tenacious and consistent brings results. Eventually everything will come into FULL CIRCLE when you beat the odds.  We all know after winter, then comes spring, summer and fall.  But each season has its timing
.  How the seasons flow, all remains the same.  Life isn't always going to bring you spring days and summer weather.  Just hold on, stay strong when you are going through, and know that your seed will produce a harvest, and you will reap the benefits.

The tree now is beautiful with more than enough leaves to count. It’s amazing how within three months, a tree can go from having one leaf, to so many that I would never be able to single out the baby leaf  I saw this past winter. That was a transforming moment for me. God uses things to help us see where we are in life and that tree and baby leaf was very symbolic to my situation…

and now you have the completed formula.

This month, I am going to need encouragement!  You ask why?  Well I've decided to participate in a cleansing fast.  I understand that I am about to enter into another level of my life and purpose.  I know that I must Experience something that I have haven't before.  Weekly, I will document my journey; so be sure to check out the Experiences page.  Anyone up for the challenge? 42 is the amazing 42 day program for cleansing
the mind, body and spirit.

It is time for 42 again. 42 is twice per year beginning on
January 1st and July 1st. It gets easier each time you do it
but the benefit continues to grow.

Why twice per year?

If you read the Bible, you notice that the cleansing and
fasting periods are always cyclical.
They repeat.
They repeat over and over again in perpetuity.
Why?
Because we get clogged
up over and over again in mind, body and spirit.

So at the beginning and middle of the year the divinely inspired
program of 42 is repeated for the rest of your life.

Which by the way if you do 42, the rest of your life is likely
to be longer, more peaceful and more fulfilled?

The bulk of the testimonies are about weight loss but the most
impactful benefits of 42 are not particularly what people see
on the outside, but the changes that are wrought on the inside.

PUSH!

On our home page, we highlight seventy-five African American Women in Business.  Not only are they in business, but they ALL hold very hierarchical positions.  SO if they could do it, why can't you or I?  The answer to that question is, YES WE CAN.  If you are reading this right now, KNOW and TRUST that you can obtain and have exactly what you want.

~You can obtain the life you so rightly deserve.  If you have created goals or objectives, place them on a vision board.  Visualize yourself in the roles that you are trying to obtain.  Think daily about the accomplishments that you are in the process of attaining.  Know that if you ask, you shall receive if you believe.  And when all else fails, Keep Pushing.

March 2010
Persistence Wins the Game

It seems as if the year just came in as we approach the end of the first quarter of 2010.  As an author and motivational speaker, I meet many people from different walks of life.  I was interviewed by a powerful and inspirational guy in Atlanta, GA when my novel, "Corporate Chics" was first released.  The theme for that particular show was "The 4th Quarter Comeback" and the philosophy and concept was very enlightening.  Because he is a football fanatic and former player, he used the concept to push and motivate others to understand that a game isn't over until the time on the clock has run out.  It may seem like you are working towards something and you are placing all of your energy in this dream, but nothing is happening.  It may seem like all of your hardwork is just going into the air and everyone else around you is prospering and making it happen.  It may seem like other alternatives may be better right now, because this dream is just not manifesting quick enough.  Well, as long as you still have time, keep playing and working to win the game.

With the law of seed time and harvest, you must understand that a seed is not going to grow over night.  You have to have the patience of a farmer.  When a farmer plants an apple tree, it takes two long years for the tree to produce its first apple.  The bigger the harvest, the longer it takes sometimes to manifest.  Success and greatness takes time.  Overnight blessings don't produce wealth and longevity.  Keep doing everything you are doing as long as you still have time on the clock.  One thing about universal laws is that they must come to pass and they work for everyone if you are following the rules precisely.  "As long as the earth remains, seed time and harvest has to remain."  Timing is essential in your destiny.  You will never obtain anything that is truly yours until it's time for you to receive it.  Point Blank.  So, get your thoughts in order and focus on positivity, love, and finishing whatever you have started.

Your 1st Steps to Achieving your Dreams

Written by TNG

I love helping people. I am a leader by nature and the older of two sisters. So I am wired to help out as much as possible. I always want to be the savior in situations and I totally embrace this gift. One of my little sisters (through the organization SSE, Inc.) asked me some business related questions. This is when I realized that maybe this information needs to be posted. My girlfriend, who is thinking about opening her own business in California, also asked me the famous question that comes with being a Consultant; "Where do I start?"

It’s a common question because sometimes with life things can seem a little overwhelming. And don't add kids and being a wife to the equation! You may want to start a business or start pursuing your passion but you become instantly overwhelmed with questions racing through your mind with 'Where do I start?" being at the top of the list. First, I want to say that my moto is, "take it one day at a time". Allow tomorrow to worry about tomorrow. But while you are taking it one day at a time, begin to start thinking of how you will schedule in that time, to achieve your dreams.

All dreams or business ideas start with a {Vision}. Having a vision of what you want or getting where you need to be, must be translated from your brain to paper. Your vision can only be seen through your eyes. So in order for others to grasp what you are seeing, you must write the vision and make it plain. {Habakkuk 2:1-3}

From Vision to Visualization

Whenever you have a business idea, your initial steps include research.

Research includes determining demographics and target market. Your target market is who you will sell to or who you will target because of their interest in buying what you are selling.

Some questions you must ask to get the answers during research are:

-How many businesses are there in my location that I will have to compete with?

-Where will I be located? Will I operate from home, lease an office space, or purchase a building space?

-What do my competitors offer?

-What will I offer to make my company, product, or service unique?

-How can I & what will I do to become a competitive advantage?

-Who are my top three competitors?

-What are the expenses of running this business?

-What is going to be my ROI (Return on Investment)?

These are a couple questions to get started. You also need to establish a mission statement. A mission statement is the vision of your business summarized in a sentence explaining what you will offer as a product or service. (Check out SSE, Inc. mission statement to get an idea.)

From there, you must determine your goals and objectives (these are guidelines and boundaries that you will establish for your business and how it will benefit your potential clients). Remember, in business you can't chase money; you must have a deep passion for whatever you are doing. The finances will come when you are in the will of God for your life. And yes, as Joyce Meyer likes to say, it's that simple.

Spring Cleaning
TNG
It's that time of year again.  We dread it, but it has to be done.  It is the only way to keep things fresh and livable.  Its funny that some of the physical things that we are required to do in our everyday lives or as the seasons change, is the same thing we must do in our lives.  Have you ever felt like you just needed a good cry?  Your soul just needing to cleanse itself?  Or maybe you are finally done with a partnership, friendship or relationship that continues to weigh you down and you know its time to really be done with that situation.  Well, that’s what “spring cleaning” entails when it comes to our lives.  I know, easier said then done.  But when you are in the process of going to the next level in your life, certain habits or certain people DO NOT QUALIFY to join you in your journey to the next chapter of your life; especially when you are ascending to greater heights. We dread it and sometimes we procrastinate, but ultimately we must ensure that we do it.  If not, you will find yourself in the same situation for years to come.  Change and Growth is the only constant in life. Embrace that concept and renew your mind daily so that you can be the best you.  The Corporate Chic mindset is more of an empowerment than cliche.  A Corporate Chic whether it's Oprah or a stay-at home mom; strives to be her best and is successful while on this journey in life. She understands that renewing her mind is a continuous transformation into who she really is or wants to be. So if you have to wear the name Corporate Chic to be your best and have the best, then wear it and be her.  And in the meantime if you haven’t started cleaning or cleansing, today is a great day to make a decision to make it a part of your daily life.

June 2010

Sometimes we need encouragement for ourselves.  I am talking about me (Tawana Necole).  April was booming and May was SLOW!  So now I am re-evaluating, re-examining, and re-structuring.  So the encouragement, I decided to give this month was to myself and how far I have come in building and maintaining relationships...

Thank you so much for allowing God to use you as his vessel!!! I'm so happy we met and when you came in you inspired me to do something. I will be reading The Secret very soon. You inspired me to do so...thank you for that. I'm happy you liked your makeup. I am very excited about working with you in the future and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Thanks,

Hey there!

I have 2 email addresses for you and I am not sure which is the right to use so hopefully one of them is correctJ.  I heard that you are speaking at St John’s graduation.  Tawana that is so awesome!  It is beautiful to see how God is working things together for you…what an amazing opportunity!  I am excited for you!  As they say…you shall know them by their fruit…the fruit that you are showing now I am sure is a direct result of

time spent with God and in the Word and allowing Him to work in you…and that is such an inspiration to me and I am sure a strong testimony to countless othersJ.

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. ~ John 15:5

Good morning Tawana,
I need a biography from you so that my student on the program can introduce you during the program. The specific topic I would like for you to address to our graduates is The importance of a Good Education as it Prepares you for Today's Job Market (especially speaking on patience, perseverance, practice, and preparation) or the R's (responsibility, readiness, resiliency, and respect ) or anything on character building, achievement and determination as it relates to being successful. Hopefully this will help you in preparing the greatest speech of your life for these unique high school graduates, just think about what you wanted your speaker to speak about when you graduated from high school. Tawana while you now have experiences under your belt and youth on your side you'll be an excellent person to speak on the challenges and pitfalls of life endeavors. Send me back an e-mail as soon as possible. Looking forward to hearing from you. One of my students is reading your book she is a senior and her name is Shawdai, its the copy Chrishara gave to me, but I am enjoying seeing my student read your wording. See you on the third of June or sooner. Thanks again.
