Corporate Chics, the novel, explores the life of a young college female transitioning into the 
corporate world.
Koilya is an Atlanta socialite who thinks she has it all: beauty, fiancée, money, and friends. She is living the high life and on her terms. With negative and positive influences, her life is seen as a never-ending ball of confusion.
Corporate Chics: Volume 1, the first of the trilogy, begins by describing the life of Koilya Privil; a wealthy Native American female. As a teenager, her brother is killed in the War on Iraq and her father dies shortly after from heart failure. Smart and sometimes haughty, this popular college female begins to use drugs to help cope with the deaths. Dating Rod, but in love with Vegas (the man of her dreams), he takes her on the ride of her life! Upon graduating, she finds out that she is pregnant but is unsure who fathered her unborn child. After experiencing this setback, Koilya graduates and transitions to Atlanta to fulfill her dream of becoming a career oriented woman. She accepts a position with an Investment Firm in which she absolutely loves. Here she learns about life, frienemies, and love.

Meet the Main Character
Koilya Privil: First off, my name (let's say it together) is COI-YA. It looks hard but its a simple-ghetto name my mom loved. I am the only child. My brother was killed in war and my father died of health problems shortly after. I am a woman that works in the Corporate world, thus making me a Corporate Chic. People say I am a little bossy and over opinionated, but I see it has Boldness & Confidence. What I've learned through documenting part of my life's journey is that all decisions have built-in consequences: good or bad, so think about that before you make one that could ultimately change your life.
